The Big Banking Crisis!!!!!!!!!!

Whats this?! People in QZealand are striking because no one is getting paid! Who is responsible for this terror!?(We're looking at you Aidie!) But seriously, this must be a computer problem. No QZealander would be so incompetent as to let such a thing happen! This crisis must be stopped A.S.A.P, or this event will terrorise QZ forever! Aidie is doing all he can to fix this insane problem . We have some comments from victims. Thomas Stannard said" I am outraged and want my snidges NOW!!!", Sara Hill said" I think it's very flippin' annoying and want my snidges back!", Jaime Duker said" It's Terrible, It's Terrible" and Tyler Kupa said" Mmm, Okay". WE WANT OUR SNIDGES, AND IF YOU AGREE COMMENT OR PERISH!!!( Well mabye not perish but you get the point.)

Digi Awards

A few weeks ago the 'Digi Awards' were held.  Everyone who got through did a great job but I'd like to tell you that all of the Adverts that got through were from LC13.  And did I mention that one of the groups from LC13 WON!

Technology

At the moment in QZealand,  Everyone has been working on Technology. We are working on products and services for a big market for the whole school in week 5.  We have a range of products from Lemonade to Sock  Animals to Lollies to Friendship bracelets.  All the seniors are doing something.  I hope that whoever reads this can find the things they want or need at the market day and the businessmen and businesswomen have good sales!

Gumboot Showdown

Finally, we have been victorious. We have the royal gumboot back in the land of QZealand and we plan to keep it here. Nobody can defeat the mighty QZealanders. The blood-curdling challenge had us on the ropes but we never back down and we reclaimed our rightful place on the pedestal (1st place!!!)

The Jets are coming. How exciting!

On Friday 8 July the Jets came to Riverdale School. A few of the Jets team members came and talked to the senior school about life as a basket ball players and what they did before they were basket ball players. After they gave a talk to the senior school a few kids from each class got a chance to play with the two Jet players. They played a game when they split up the kids and had two teams. One team were shooting at the hoop and the other team were trying not to get out and get a home run for their team. Everyone had a lot of fun.

Clicquot, The cutest dog ever!

Last Friday, TC brought her dog Clicquot (Cle-Co), to school! He is definitely, THE CUTEST DOG EVER! He is a Cavoodle (a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle). Clicquot traveled for years to the mysterious land of QZealand with his trusty sidekick, Mr. Possum! Together they make a great team - Well, when Clicquot doesn't bite him! But he has to have some form of bedding, that's why TC brought his special cave/crate to school. He must have his secret keys to open it though. OK, I'm about to tell you top secret information. The secret key code is... LEFT RIGHT LEFT UP DOWN RIGHT. I am not repeating myself so I hope you can remember. AHHH! Clicquot's bodyguards are chasing me away! Sorry folks, no more Clicquot news from me... AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any Ideas?

I know that you think we're smart enough to come up with ideas, but... We can't think of a new competition. This is sort of a competition. All you need to do is come up with an idea for a competition and give it a cool name. You can help us come up with the success criteria. We'll put the winning idea on the QZealand Times!

A Gone Gumboot

Its a tragic day for QZ. We have lost the gumboot to LC10 in a game of Runaway Robber! This tragic event has left us in a state of terror for without the gumboots magical shine the sheild is broken and the evil monsters are invading!!! They're taking us down 1 by 1, only five left and I think I mabye next (rumble...) Wha...AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dopey Plonker

WARING! Words in this story may be too intense for anyone called Mr McCallum. After the 2011 phone books got delivered, Mr. McCallum threw his 2010 book in the garbage. But one brave QZealander, Jamie The Great, stood up from the shadows and corrected this Plonker and told him that phone book goes into the recycling not the normal garbage. THANK YOU JAMIE THE GREAT!!!

Its, Its....Reading Time With Saul?

Okay, so this year we haven't had much happen and so we can't really find any thing to write about but we've recently had a group meeting to brainstorm ideas, some were very weird... Like, Talk time with Sean The Sheep, farting contests. But the weirdest? Reading time with Saul. But we've decided to go with it to get more laughs (and views). So each week Saul will submit a story that we spell check and publish. So good luck (you'll need it).

Science Expo

The Science Expo was on Friday the 10th and 11th of June. We had things from people from 5 years of age all the way up to 11 years of age! The Juniors had 'Kitchen Chemistry' , The Middles had 'Land forms' and the Seniors had 'Ecosystems'. We hope that everyone who came to the expo, enjoyed it!

Quiddage

What a Horrific Sight! Once again LC12 and LC10 have again started Quiddage before us! This is the worst thing to happen in QZ History!!! Luckily we can maybe start Quiddage next Friday with Kill Code, Food Evolution (that's me), Passion Girlz, Creative Crafts and Eco Girlz. Also we are still more complex than any other class. None of the other senior classes have their own Newspaper, Goverment, Queen or catchy name and this is to all you QZealanders Rreading, WE ROCK!

House Cup!

In school singing on Thursday the 9 June the house cup was awarded. Kakapo came fourth, Kereru came third, Tui came second and Takahe came first! We asked Tui's house captains to see how they feel to almost getting the house cup " It was pretty exiting but when we found out that we didn't get it we were pretty upset." This is what Takahe's house captains said, "We were very nervous to wait to see who won but when we found out we won we were amazed. It was like an explosion that slowly dies down."

Briar Breaks Out With Ms. Sparks

Briar and Miss Sparks have left us to starve. We're all alone, trapped in the land of QZealand, starving for laughter. We're slowly fading away. First Saul, then Caitlin and now me and Hannah. If we don't find laughter soon we'll all DIE!!! (Sorry no pics)

His Royal Mayorness!!!

OK, You want the good news or the bad news first? Well I'll give you the good news. His Royal Mayorness, Jono Naylor came to our class on Friday!!! Awesome Natalya has been cleaning up graffiti for junior neighbour hood support watch but run out of supplies so she emailed Jono Naylor and there you go! The bad news, Natalya's going to Fiji for 2 weeks! And so soon! 1 Minute after our talk with Jono! Well it can't be helped but pics coming soon!!!

Lucy has recently been bringing her teddies to school and she keeps putting them on the stumps with books and things like that. But this time they're on Net Books as you can see the stumps are in a Teddy Teddy Thomas row (Three T's and three Stumps and Three Net Books) If only the toys had Riverdale School uniforms and socks!
