The Dopey Plonker

WARING! Words in this story may be too intense for anyone called Mr McCallum. After the 2011 phone books got delivered, Mr. McCallum threw his 2010 book in the garbage. But one brave QZealander, Jamie The Great, stood up from the shadows and corrected this Plonker and told him that phone book goes into the recycling not the normal garbage. THANK YOU JAMIE THE GREAT!!!

Its, Its....Reading Time With Saul?

Okay, so this year we haven't had much happen and so we can't really find any thing to write about but we've recently had a group meeting to brainstorm ideas, some were very weird... Like, Talk time with Sean The Sheep, farting contests. But the weirdest? Reading time with Saul. But we've decided to go with it to get more laughs (and views). So each week Saul will submit a story that we spell check and publish. So good luck (you'll need it).

Science Expo

The Science Expo was on Friday the 10th and 11th of June. We had things from people from 5 years of age all the way up to 11 years of age! The Juniors had 'Kitchen Chemistry' , The Middles had 'Land forms' and the Seniors had 'Ecosystems'. We hope that everyone who came to the expo, enjoyed it!

Quiddage

What a Horrific Sight! Once again LC12 and LC10 have again started Quiddage before us! This is the worst thing to happen in QZ History!!! Luckily we can maybe start Quiddage next Friday with Kill Code, Food Evolution (that's me), Passion Girlz, Creative Crafts and Eco Girlz. Also we are still more complex than any other class. None of the other senior classes have their own Newspaper, Goverment, Queen or catchy name and this is to all you QZealanders Rreading, WE ROCK!

House Cup!

In school singing on Thursday the 9 June the house cup was awarded. Kakapo came fourth, Kereru came third, Tui came second and Takahe came first! We asked Tui's house captains to see how they feel to almost getting the house cup " It was pretty exiting but when we found out that we didn't get it we were pretty upset." This is what Takahe's house captains said, "We were very nervous to wait to see who won but when we found out we won we were amazed. It was like an explosion that slowly dies down."

Briar Breaks Out With Ms. Sparks

Briar and Miss Sparks have left us to starve. We're all alone, trapped in the land of QZealand, starving for laughter. We're slowly fading away. First Saul, then Caitlin and now me and Hannah. If we don't find laughter soon we'll all DIE!!! (Sorry no pics)

Photo Contest!

On the 15th of June, The QZealand times are holding a photo contest. The photos have to be in by the 22nd of June, So you have one week to get your entry in.
Criteria:

1. It has to be your own photo (not from Google)
2. It should be in focus and not blurry.
3. Not too bright, not too dark.
4. It MUST have someone from QZealand in it.

OK, You want the good news or the bad news first? Well I'll give you the good news. His Royal Mayorness, Jono Naylor came to our class on Friday!!! Awesome Natalya has been cleaning up graffiti for junior neighbour hood support watch but run out of supplies so she emailed Jono Naylor and there you go! The bad news, Natalya's going to Fiji for 2 weeks! And so soon! 1 Minute after our talk with Jono! Well it can't be helped but pics coming soon!!!
