Gumboot Showdown

Finally, we have been victorious. We have the royal gumboot back in the land of QZealand and we plan to keep it here. Nobody can defeat the mighty QZealanders. The blood-curdling challenge had us on the ropes but we never back down and we reclaimed our rightful place on the pedestal (1st place!!!)

The Jets are coming. How exciting!

On Friday 8 July the Jets came to Riverdale School. A few of the Jets team members came and talked to the senior school about life as a basket ball players and what they did before they were basket ball players. After they gave a talk to the senior school a few kids from each class got a chance to play with the two Jet players. They played a game when they split up the kids and had two teams. One team were shooting at the hoop and the other team were trying not to get out and get a home run for their team. Everyone had a lot of fun.

Clicquot, The cutest dog ever!

Last Friday, TC brought her dog Clicquot (Cle-Co), to school! He is definitely, THE CUTEST DOG EVER! He is a Cavoodle (a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle). Clicquot traveled for years to the mysterious land of QZealand with his trusty sidekick, Mr. Possum! Together they make a great team - Well, when Clicquot doesn't bite him! But he has to have some form of bedding, that's why TC brought his special cave/crate to school. He must have his secret keys to open it though. OK, I'm about to tell you top secret information. The secret key code is... LEFT RIGHT LEFT UP DOWN RIGHT. I am not repeating myself so I hope you can remember. AHHH! Clicquot's bodyguards are chasing me away! Sorry folks, no more Clicquot news from me... AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any Ideas?

I know that you think we're smart enough to come up with ideas, but... We can't think of a new competition. This is sort of a competition. All you need to do is come up with an idea for a competition and give it a cool name. You can help us come up with the success criteria. We'll put the winning idea on the QZealand Times!

A Gone Gumboot

Its a tragic day for QZ. We have lost the gumboot to LC10 in a game of Runaway Robber! This tragic event has left us in a state of terror for without the gumboots magical shine the sheild is broken and the evil monsters are invading!!! They're taking us down 1 by 1, only five left and I think I mabye next (rumble...) Wha...AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dopey Plonker

WARING! Words in this story may be too intense for anyone called Mr McCallum. After the 2011 phone books got delivered, Mr. McCallum threw his 2010 book in the garbage. But one brave QZealander, Jamie The Great, stood up from the shadows and corrected this Plonker and told him that phone book goes into the recycling not the normal garbage. THANK YOU JAMIE THE GREAT!!!
