Skyscrapers Assembly

The Senior Skyscrapers are doing a assembly this Thursday(24th October).  We have been given the honour of being first and setting the bar.  The two presenters are Maia and Hael.  We sure hope everything goes well and that we will get  huge applause. We are singing E te Ariki with the new actions developed by our own Macy and Reikura.  There will be arguments and people doing Mihis.  A couple of people will be introducing themselves in French.

Technology Prototypes

The big market day is coming up and we are making our prototypes.  This includes Roc-key holders, iPod pouches, Rice bubble cakes, Ice blocks, melted crayons, white boards and fluffy poi.

The market day is at the end of November. It will be for real  money. The goal is to make$50 profit.

I've been noticing that LC13 is getting lots and lots of snidges.  I think I know why. It's because of this AWESOME SDL! Lots of people are getting over 100 whopping snidges! I'm sad this week because I won't get all my Excellence's!  But I hope some other people will get LOTS of snidges. GOOD LUCK!  

Milk in schools

NEWS FLASH 

We have recently found that our little cartons of milk we have Monday , Wednesday and Friday have 9.7 grams of sugar in them.  What a disgrace!!!

We have done some research and found that there is no need to worry the 9.7 grams of sugar is already in the milk when it comes out of the cow.  So there is no added sugar in our milk boxes.

Invention Convention

NO ONE entered this competition so we are running it again. Here is the information.

 Do you want to be the next INVENTOR of QZealand?  Well here is your chance to be well known. Sketch a way to move 
your tote tray around without carrying it and write how it 
works and what it is called. It will have to have real parts and not fantasy. Hand it in to Sarah by 30th of September. The PRIZE: 1st place S100, 2nd S50, 3rd S20.

• Needs to be on an A4 piece of paper.
• Has to be appropriate.
