Be in to win S200 for the best animal action photo.  

2nd prize is S100 and 3rd is S50.

Criteria:

• It must be a photo of an animal (not human)
• There must be some action / movement (not asleep or sitting / standing still)
• The photo must be taken some time after 12.50pm on 21 June 2012
• No animal/s may be harmed in the taking of your photo
• The subject should be in clear focus
• The photo must be taken by you
• The subject should stand out clearly from its background
• The subject should occupy a large part of the photo
• The photo may be cropped or otherwise enhanced
• Entries must be emailed to Jaime (jaime.duker@riverdale.school.nz) by Wednesday at 3pm
• You may enter as many photos as you like

Interschool Cross Country

Tuesday 5th of June was the Manawatu  Interschool Cross Country.  LC13 and 10  have been chosen to come with the people competing in the event.  But they didn't come to watch and play around - they came to marshal. This year Riverdale School was organising the event. The race was at Massey. It was exactly 2.2 km. We had some people  from our class who went to race Noah (1st Y6 Boys), Sam (2nd Y6 Boys), Salma (5th Y6 Girls ), Caleb (5th Y6 Boys), Joel (7th Y5 Boys), Luke (12th Y6 Boys), Jaxon (25th Y6 Boys), Rumer (78th Y5 Girls).  The Y6 Girls came 2nd and the Y6 Boys came 1st.  Here are some pictures from the event.
