Calendar Art

ATTENTION!

We all need to get our calendar art finished. That we can try parents the work that we have done and so that they can buy a calendar or card saw a notebook to keep with your art on it. It is great fun but today is the last day so we need to get it done it will feel so much better to get your calendar art done and to show your family the Coll work you have done. So you need to get working to get it finished make it quick the the deadlines today.

Thanking The Camp Parents

ATTENTION EVERYONE.

 We all need to remember to say thanks to the camp parents as they came and helped us at camp. They did a awesome job to. They were helping us in our camp teams and making sure everyone in the team was included. They helped do the cleaning up and getting our lunches ready for the next day. They also stayed up late even if they were wanting to go to bed to make sure that we went to sleep first and then they did. The camp parents didn't get paid to come they just came to help out everyone. Also Karina and all the other teachers who came and made camp happen. It was a great time so remember to thank the people who came on camp.

New Competition

It is a new competition this week and the topic is name the famous sports person. There will be 5 different pictures of famous sports people. The people will play different sports for example hockey player cricket player or a soccer player. I hope you enjoy this competition and the winner will get a certificate. Put your answers in the comment boxes bellow. You must say what their first and last name is and what sport they play the first correct answer in wins.

Translation Competition

Are you a competitive person who loves to win but learn at the same time?? If you do then you better read on. This is a competition that will be on every week now but different topics every week so one week it might be name the food and the other week it might be try to guess the piece of furniture in QZealand. So this week it is a translation competition.

So what you do is I will type down the bottom of the page three sentences in three different languages and the sentences won't be the same as each other. So this week the sentences will be in German, Swedish and Maori. The winner will get a certificate saying their name what they won the certificate for and a signature. Good luck every body and put your answers like this in the comment box.

Swedish - What does this mean in English? Vi har en tron i QZealand och det är bekväma.

Maori - What does this mean in Maori?  TC Ko te orometua rahi, me te ia i te kuri orotika, ko Clicquot.

Reading Research

Are you wondering what on earth a reading researches are the you better read on. This will help you survive the term with reading researches. Plus you can get up to three points in SDL and man that is heaps that can get you an achieve straight away plus they are really fun to do and the topic are awesome to choose from and there is heaps of them.


All of the instruction are on the site of the way you do it. I will also help you when you need it you just call me over then I will help you straight away. You also need to remember to use the templates when you are writing so it goes straight. You right all the questions in your book then put an answer that is understandable next to it but also short like a dot jot next to it. Once you have answered all of the question you get a piece of printer paper and you write the answeres on the paper but make them longer for example - How much milo should you put in a cup?   2tsp - How much milo do you put in a cup? You should put two teaspoons of milo into the cup.

So that should help you out but if you still don't get it and you have no idea what to do well then just call me over and come up to me and I will come need help you out but I won't do it for you. Sorry.

How To Get All Your Excellences In SDL?

So everyone wants to get all their excellences in SDL but they just don't know how to. Read along and I will tell you three ways to get all your excellences by the end of the week and I mean who doesn't want to have an extra 600 snidges in their bank account.

First way to get all your excellences is by ruling your book up while we are doing home fun check in the morning on Monday. Also Try to write in your words as quick as possible once it is SDL time.

Secondly you should do a dash or a sign next to all the activities you are going to do on the day. This will help a lot because you won't spend ages trying to choose what task you should do.

Thirdly if you do the compulsory tasks first it helps. Doing Khan academy at the start of the week helps so you won't be worrying and rushing to do it at the end of the week so you can do Quiddage. Also on the Monday night you should do your visual language because that is the hardest to get an achieved in.

So that is my short and quick guide on how to get all your excellences by the end of the week. If this does work for you please comment below and say what worked and what didn't work so much for you.

Would you rather???

This is my QZ article on would you rather play outside with your friends or inside on Minecraft or video games.

I asked some people in the class and these were my results.

16 people would rather play outside with their friends then play video games.

And 4 people would rather play inside and video games.

How many times have you seen people not plug in iPods and how does it make you feel?

Dan has seen two people not plug in iPods and it makes him feel angry and he just wants them to plug it in.

Tessa has seen two people as well and she is disgraced and angry that people can't plug the iPods in.

Cornflake has also seen two people and he gets mad.

Skye has seen two people and he feels mad.

Jorjye has seen SIX people and she is disappointed in our classmates.

Tahlia has seen three people and she gets annoyed.

Jaime has seen five people and she gets annoyed. 

Roman has seen two people and he feels sad.

Cameron has seen three people and she gets annoyed.

T.C gets frustrated when this happens.

Guys you are letting your classmates down so just plug in the iPods.

Why Clicquot should be able to come to Riverdale School in our class?

We should have Clicquot at Riverdale School and these are three of my reasons why we love and want Clicquot here at Riverdale School.

Firstly, Clicquot will not let us get distracted and he will definitely be quiet at school.   He does his business outside I promise you.  He is a very good dog and isn't ever bad because he knows he might get a treat from T.C.

Secondly, Clicquot is not harmful and definitely will not bite.  He is the cutest dog and very fluffy. Nobody would be scared by him.  He is not a big dog and is only about 35 - 45cm tall. He loves anyone who pats him or rubs his ears.

Thirdly, everybody loves Clicquot, he does not hurt any one. He loves principals named Mrs Peck.  We even have rules for if Clicquot does come and those rules are, We can't go up to him he has to come to us and it is only a quick pat, if we get to distracted he won't come anymore.  But that wouldn't happen because I already said that he is a good dog not a bad dog.

So those are my reasons why Clicquot should be able to stay in the class with us and he will not run out of the class and disturb other people from other classes because he is not like that but he is sometimes a bit sneaky. Also he has quite a groove and he is pretty good at doing cool dances.

What Do kids in LC8 have for breakfast and in their lunch?

I asked ten different people what hey had for breakfast. It was very interesting what I found out. Have a read.        Then I asked ten more kids what they had in their lunch and this was the result.

P.I comments

Listen up everyone. When someone does a P.I. you should be commenting well.

You don't just write, "Great P.I speak louder," or "Cool P.I." You should actually mean the comment and write what they did well and why and what they need to work on. Not just "Great P.I.," and remember your capital letters and full stops.

You will have a great comment if you listen to what I have said.

What is an E-portfolio post

Well an eportfolio post is a task which  you take a photo of any of the work you have done, post it on your blogger, write what was good about it and what you need to work on. Then print it off and you have a tick in sdl.

Blake's helpers

ATTENTION! Everyone that has been giving tasks to Blake listen in. Some of you have been forgetting to give him tasks and he is walking around for ages.  If it is your week remember to give him tasks.  You guys should not need to be reminded every time.  If Blake finishes his work he is aloud to wander for around five minutes.  Keep an eye on the time.

Crossword Puzzle Help

If you are doing your SDL and you want two points to get a merit then listen in. If you are wanting to do a crossword and you just have no idea ask me. I love doing crosswords and I will give you the exact help you need to be on your way to being the best at crosswords. You may think they are tricky and boring but once you do it you will be dying to do more. They are really fun and good for the brain. So give me a yell saying "UNICORN".

Bringing Your Diary to School

You have to bring your diary to school. Firstly because you will need those ten sings every day so you have a lot of snidges for quiddage. Also you will not know what Sdl tasks you have done.

Secondly because you won't get sings at the end of the week and you will have to do your work in your breaks instead of playing with your friends.

Thirdly when you do your reading get your parents signature then put it straight into your bag so that you will not forget it.

 These are reasons why you should try to remember your diary. Please pay attention.

12.30 Ghost

For all those that are new to qzealand we have something called a twelve thirty ghost. No one knows who it is or do they. He can knock you down and take things when you least expect it. He can turn on the tv. He is mischief and very freaky is it you or is it your best friend or is it me mowahahahaha I mean I wonder who it is.

Signing out of your account

You should always sign out of your account. Firstly because if someone goes on a computer and you are signed in they could hack it and email people on your friend list and email them bad things but the people will think that it is you. Secondly because people don't want to go on the computer and have to sign out of yours wait for it to sign out and then put their one in. Lastly do sign out so you are just being nice to your classmates. So please listen to what I have said.

Blake the Artist

This is Blake. He drew a picture of all these instruments by himself. There is an avenue, guitar, accordion, trumpet and piano.  I think Blake has drawn great pictures and he is a very great artist.
